Graduated and initially worked as a Respiratory Therapist in Manila, Philippines. After a year of dedication and hard work she was moved to EEG Unit and appointed as unit in-charge and then pursued her career as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist.
In 1998, she moved to the UAE, initially at Dubai American Hospital then Tawam Hospital in Al Ain and Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi. She continued her education by enrolling in a distance learning diploma of Electroencephalographic Technology at the California College of Health Sciences, USA. She obtained her American board license through ABRET as Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist.
Her professional skills include: Electroencephalography (EEG), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Evoked Potentials (EPs). For six years, she was in charge of the Neurophysiology Laboratory in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. She was also part of establishing the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Sleep disorders Unit. She regularly participates in neurological conferences. Carol is a member of American Society of Neurodiagnostic Technologists and American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
Niru is actually assistant nurse in the neurology clinic. Niru graduated and initially worked as a Registered Nurse in Kathmandu, Nepal in a reputed hospital in the Emergency Department for 3 years. She then moved to a tertiary care center to start her career in Burn ICU and General ICU.
In 2017, she moved to the UAE. She initially started to work in home care service before moving to Mediclinic Dubai Mall in 2019. Niru takes care of booking the patients, follows insurances approvals, assist patients in booking their appointments in radiology, physiotherapy etc.
